The IBDI (International Barns Dene Invitational - it's a long story) annual golf trip to Marbs/Cascais won't quite be the same without Alan - whether keeping us amused on the course, putting the world to rights in the bar or on the plane (if you were lucky enough to sit next to him!) he was such an integral member of our annual trip! Characters don't come much bigger or more well liked than Alan - we'll miss him immensely and will be raising a glass to him on each future trip..........
